Barbara De Muro, lawyer, provides judicial and extrajudicial assistance, advice ande defense in the field of civil law, and in particular, in the areas of commercial and corporate law. She is an equity partner of the law firm LCA, based in Milan, where she also holds the position of Head of the German Desk. Before Joining LCA, she has been partner for 11 years of the Italian law firm Portale Visconti, Milan office.
She is a member of:
i) the Advisory Board of Tendercapital Ltd, an English company operating in the asset management field,
ii) the Board of Directors of the Sandra and Enea Mattei Foundation of Pavia;
iii) the Board of Directors of the Almo Collegio Borromeo Foundation in Pavia;
iv) the Board of Directors of fullsix s.p.a., a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
She graduated with honors from the University of Pavia as a student of “Collegio Nuovo”. Always passionate about gender issues, in 2013 she launched ASLAWomen, the section dedicated to the diversity of the Association of Associated Law Firms (ASLA). ASLAWomen was founded with the original aim of knowing and monitoring lawyers’ conditions, but now it carries out activities of a broader scope, aiming at the full exploitation of all differences, outside and within the law firms. During the five years of activity at the head of ASLAWomen, Barbara de Muro ha designed and implemented a vast program of activities and initiatives, such as conferences, events to raise awareness and training on diversity, internship for jurists from Ghana, coordination of the “Code of Equal Opportunities”, support to legislative initiatives on equal opportunities etc.
